Would you like to become more involved in local, statewide and national politics? Do you enjoy socializing with like minded women? Do you believe in promoting the involvement and participation of women in political activity? The Women’s Republican Club of Lancaster County may be for you!
Our members attend Pennsylvania Federation of Republican Women (PFRW) events and are invited at special rates to Republican Committee of Lancaster County functions. As a club, we have sponsored interviews of candidates, hosted informative events featuring local and statewide candidates and office holders, and held our summer WRC picnic and annual holiday tea. On the last Tuesday of every month, our members meet for lunch at noon at Arthur's at the Eden Resort (Oregon Pike and Eden Road just north of Route 30) where the format is casual and the information exchange is valuable.
As a WRC member you can:
Attend monthly meetings that are both social & educational
Support women who are seeking or currently in office
Learn what it takes to run for political office from the inside
Get to know your elected officials on a one-on-one basis
Help to change your community through the political process.
